Context

The reporting volunteer in the security field will learn to categorize incidents and maintaining updated records. They transfer relevant information from various sources and ensure reporting of events that may affect staff and operations.

Task Description

The Online Volunteer will support the reporting and record-keeping of security incidents, while gaining valuable experience in international organizational communication. Under the direct supervision of Chief Security Officer, WFP Ethiopia, the volunteer will undertake the following tasks: - Assists in monitoring media and other sources for emerging risks, and support recording security incidents in accurate logs and records. - Volunteer may wish to support coordinate response to WFP staff or security team, gaining experience in effective communication within an international organization.
