Mission and Objectives
Practical support for trade-led business
The world faces monumental economic challenges, with the most vulnerable battered by social and economic instability. We at ITC are working to change this through trade for good.
We offer small businesses, policymakers and business support organizations in developing countries an array of trade-related practical training, advisory services, and a wealth of business intelligence data.
We help micro, small and medium-sized businesses become more competitive and help to create better regulatory environments for trade.
We are empowering women, youth and refugees through jobs. Through our programmes, projects, services and data, we are helping drive digital connectivity and a global transition to green, sustainable trade.
Context
The Ye! Community is a global digital platform led by the International Trade Centre (ITC), empowering youth entrepreneurs from around the world to build sustainable, inclusive, and impact-driven businesses. The community provides access to learning, mentorship, networks, visibility, and opportunities to connect with global ecosystems, partners, and markets.
Within the Ye! Community, the Youth Ecopreneur Programme (YECO) is ITC’s flagship initiative supporting young green entrepreneurs working on solutions for environmental sustainability, ecological restoration, and climate resilience. YECO supports youth-led enterprises through a structured journey including a global bootcamp, accelerator, mentorship, awards, and high-visibility international events. The programme operates globally and works closely with UN partners, private-sector actors, and innovation ecosystems.
Digital storytelling and youth-friendly video content play a key role in amplifying the voices, journeys, and impact of these young entrepreneurs and in engaging a global youth audience.
