Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) supports national partners in advancing sustainable development, addressing poverty, inequality, and climate challenges. The UNDP Annual Report is a flagship corporate publication that highlights key development achievements, results, and partnerships during the reporting period.
To ensure a high-quality, visually appealing, and professionally produced Annual Report, UNDP seeks the support of a Digital UN Volunteer with strong skills in UN document design, formatting, and data visualization. The volunteer will support Phase 4 of the production cycle—design, layout, proofreading, and final preparation—working closely with the Communications/Reporting team to ensure the final publication meets UNDP branding, visibility, and accessibility standards to the highest level.
This assignment will directly strengthen UNDP’s communication impact, enhance partner visibility, and improve public understanding of UNDP’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Online Volunteer will:
- Report to the designated UNDP supervisor.
- Participate in weekly or bi weekly coordination meetings.
- Receive all necessary resources, including brand guidelines, templates, datasets, and editorial instructions.
UNDP will provide timely feedback throughout the assignment to ensure high-quality outputs and positive volunteer experience.
