Mission and Objectives
Promotion of Sustainable Development in Donga Mantung Association was officially recognized by the Government of Cameroon in 2006 under authorization No. 152/E.27/750/BAPP/PS. In 2024, it achieved Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, focusing on sustainable development, climate change mitigation, and migration assistance.
The association is registered as an Extra-Provincial Corporation in Alberta, Canada.
PROSDOMA is dedicated to supporting newcomers in Alberta, helping them successfully settle and integrate into Canadian society. We offer assistance with asylum and permanent residency applications, ensuring newcomers have the legal support they need. Additionally, PROSDOMA provides counseling services, job search support, and computer skills training to equip individuals with essential tools for long-term success. We connect newcomers to vital resources such as food banks, shelters, and tax filing assistance, ensuring their basic needs are met as they navigate their new environment. Our mission goes beyond basic support, as we strive to foster social inclusion by encouraging newcomers to actively contribute to their communities, enriching Canada’s diverse fabric. PROSDOMA also focuses on expanding its outreach through social media platforms, raising awareness about available services. By doing so, we ensure that newcomers have access to the support they need to build a stable, fulfilling life in Canada.
