Technical Skills: - Strong research and analytical skills. - Prior experience in in safety and security area is required. - Ability to synthesize information from various sources into concise reports is required. - Familiarity with the geopolitical landscape, culture, and current events of the Region is required. - Familiarity with humanitarian response, emergency preparedness, crisis/emergency relief management, international relations or other related areas will be considered an advantage. - Knowledge of political dynamics and international relationship is desirable. - Previous communication and social media monitoring experience is considered an asset. Communication Skills: - Excellent written communication skills. - Ability to present information clearly and logically. Other Requirements: - Familiarity of using different social media platforms and mainstream print and electronic media news channels. - Proven motivation and interest in the fields of security and international affairs. - Access to reliable internet connectivity. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
