Mission and objectives
Enabling Rural Opportunity Network (ERONet), formerly Agoro Community Development Association (ACDA), is a community-based organization founded in 2001 in Lamwo District, Northern Uganda. ERONet works with vulnerable rural communities affected by poverty, conflict, displacement, and limited access to services.
The organization focuses on strengthening opportunities for women, girls, youth, and marginalized households through community-led initiatives in education, livelihoods, resilience building, and social inclusion. ERONet is currently implementing the Agoro Girls Education Sponsorship Pilot Project, which supports vulnerable girls to remain in school through educational support, mentorship, family engagement, and school-community collaboration.
Context
ERONet is seeking to strengthen its visibility, accountability, and fundraising readiness through professional documentation of project results and learning. The Agoro Girls Education Sponsorship Pilot Project has completed its first six months of implementation, creating an important opportunity to document progress and demonstrate impact.
The report will serve multiple audiences, including local government officials, community leaders, development partners, donors, volunteers, and supporters. It will also contribute to ERONet’s broader objective of becoming a more visible, credible, and fundable grassroots organization.
The volunteer's contribution will help establish a strong foundation for future donor engagement, organizational learning, and strategic communications.
