Mission
WOPA aims to inspire, equip, and empower Women and girls to overcome hardships and create real change in their communities and lives.
To effect positive change in the lives of women, girls and children across Liberia through collaboration, service projects, mentorship, and advocacy in order to uplift and empower women and girls.
Vision
Our vision is to reduce poverty in the lives of women and girls and to help them [overcome societal challenges] and [realize their ability to create societal impact and improve their lives].
Context
- Develop and schedule engaging, relevant, and timely content for WOPA’s social media platforms, aligned with the organization’s mission and communication strategy.
- Create clear and compelling captions, storytelling posts, and awareness content that highlight WOPA’s programs, impact, and community engagement.
- Design simple, visually appealing graphics using tools such as Canva, ensuring consistency with WOPA’s branding and messaging.
- Monitor social media performance (engagement, reach, impressions) and suggest practical strategies to improve visibility and audience interaction.
- Support content planning by contributing ideas for campaigns, thematic posts, and awareness initiatives related to gender equality and community development.
- Ensure all content reflects professionalism, accuracy, and alignment with WOPA’s values and communication standards.
- Incorporate feedback from the supervising team and revise content as required.
Selected volunteers will be provided with relevant background information, branding guidelines, and guidance to effectively carry out the assignment.

- Strong content creation skills, including writing engaging captions and developing audience-centered messaging.
- Proficiency in basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or equivalent) for creating visually appealing social media content.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X) and understanding of engagement strategies and analytics.
- Ability to translate organizational activities and development topics into clear, engaging, and impactful digital content.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in tone, branding, and messaging.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver content within agreed timelines.
- Commitment to WOPA’s mission and values, with sensitivity to issues of gender equality and community empowerment.
