Mission and objectives

The National Volunteer Network (NVN) is a voluntary association of citizens and legal entities established in 2010 with the aim of creating, supporting and developing a culture of volunteering, volunteer initiatives and activities among citizens, civil society institutions, the business sector and government agencies.

Context

This online volunteer assignment is implemented in partnership with the National Volunteer Network of Kazakhstan, Al-Farabi National University in Kazakhstan and supported by the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme within the framework of the International Volunteer Year 2026. The initiative aims to strengthen the visibility, digital engagement, and development of volunteer initiatives across Kazakhstan through innovative and community-driven approaches. Online Volunteers will support the National Volunteer Network in advancing volunteer-led solutions and increasing public awareness of volunteerism and sustainable development efforts. Volunteers will contribute to the design and development of social impact initiatives, support digital outreach activities, and help enhance the visibility of volunteer projects through social media and online communication channels.

Task description
