Task Description
Purewish Foundation Uganda (formerly known as New Generation for Change) is a community-based organization committed to building stronger, healthier, and more prosperous communities through access to quality education, economic empowerment, and improved water and sanitation. In Northern Uganda, many children continue to face the long-term effects of conflict, poverty, displacement, and limited access to essential services. These challenges affect school attendance, learning outcomes, and the wellbeing of vulnerable children, including orphans, refugees, and those from extremely low-income families.
To respond to this need, Purewish Foundation Uganda established Purewish Junior School (Nursery and Primary) to provide inclusive and affordable education for vulnerable children. The school has become a safe space where children can learn, receive care, and rebuild hope for their future. However, the school still faces critical gaps limited access to safe water, inadequate classroom desks, and insufficient support for dedicated teachers who continue to serve despite minimal resources.
