Mission and Objectives
Girls Education Mission International envisions a world where every girl is educated, safe, and empowered to realize her full potential and lead transformative change in peaceful, just, and inclusive
societies.
We are on a mission to empower girls to learn, lead, and thrive by dismantling barriers to quality education, ensuring holistic protection, and fostering inclusive environments where they can realize their rights and drive transformative change.
Aim
1. Expand Access to Quality, Inclusive, and Gender-Responsive Education: To dismantle barriers to learning by promoting equitable access to quality education across both formal
and non-formal pathways, ensuring every girl can transition successfully from primary through secondary levels in safe, inclusive environments.
2. Ensure Holistic Safety, Protection, and Well-being: To prevent and respond to violence, abuse, and harmful practices by providing comprehensive protection services
and safe spaces, ensuring that every girl’s dignity and rights are upheld within her home, school, and community.
3. Foster Agency, Leadership, and Civic Participation: To equip girls with the life skills, confidence, and mentorship necessary to exercise their agency and assume leadership
roles, ensuring their meaningful participation in decision-making processes at all levels of society.
4. Advance Economic Empowerment and Self-Reliance: To promote long-term economic agency and innovation through digital and financial literacy, vocational skills training, and entrepreneurship, empowering girls and young women to build sustainable
livelihoods and micro-enterprises.
5. Transform Systems and Shift Social Norms: To drive lasting societal change by influencing policy frameworks, shifting discriminatory social norms, and mobilizing
community-led advocacy to ensure that girls’ rights are protected and prioritized in every sphere of influence.
