Online Research and Writing Support for Local NGO Grant Proposals

Proven background or specialized training in technical writing, public policy, or project proposal formulation within the non-profit or civil society sector. Excellent written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize community-level needs into structured, persuasive project frameworks. Familiarity with institutional donor frameworks, grant reporting compliance, or the civil society landscape within Eastern Europe is highly advantageous. Strong organizational and collaborative skills to work effectively within an online peer-advisory team.

The selected Online Volunteers will assist a local chapter. The volunteers will function as a collaborative research and writing cohort to complete a single, concrete task: the compilation of a finalized funding application portfolio, consisting of five (5) project proposal drafts and three (3) localized donor compliance matrices. To deliver this single collective output, each volunteer will contribute to the following integrated components under the supervision of the program team: - Review the field notes, community data, and project objectives provided by the local NGO to draft tailored project narratives that align with institutional funder guidelines. - Conduct localized research on bilateral, multilateral, and philanthropic funding windows currently active and accessible to civil society entities within your country. - Provide peer-review feedback and editorial alignment on parallel drafts within the cohort to ensure absolute technical accuracy and narrative cohesion before final submission
