Context

timbuktoo Africa Innovation Foundation is a pan-African innovation initiative anchored in UNDP's Regional Bureau for Africa. Its mission is to support African founders to start, grow, and scale targeting 100,000 enrolled startups, 1,000 scaled companies, and the mobilisation of USD 1 billion for African innovation. The Foundation operates across a growing portfolio of programmes spanning AI for development, climate innovation, digital public infrastructure, and startup ecosystem development, supported by a network of thematic Innovation Hubs and University Innovation Pods (UniPods) across the continent. As the Foundation scales its programme delivery and partnerships, it coordinates a high volume of structured meetings with government officials, consortium partners, grant advisors, and regional stakeholders.
