Mission and Objectives
AAE Vision: to be an engine for change and platform for dialogue for African SMEs.
AAE Mission: to establish a mutually beneficial sharing system where entrepreneurs and expert volunteers exchange experiences and participate in learning and service.
AAE Objectives:
Create a virtual space for creative and cultural expression where diverse SMEs can showcase their excellence.
Contribute to regional advocacy campaigns that support and encourage innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship.
Work with governmental institutions to promote innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation.
Provide and support professional development programs that promote and nurture innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship
Involve international volunteers and audiences to encourage them to have an active role in assisting African SMEs.
Context
This assignment supports the African Association of Entrepreneurs (AAE) in raising awareness of its programs and resources for African SMEs. The volunteer will help expand AAE’s digital reach, engage target audiences, and contribute to the organization’s mission of fostering sustainable entrepreneurship across Africa.
Task Description
This online volunteer role is task-based and focuses on supporting the African Association of Entrepreneurs (AAE) in raising awareness of AAE’s programs for African SMEs across digital platforms.
Specific tasks steps aligned with AAE’s mission and vision:
1.Select no less than two published materials including business environment reports, articles and e-books from AAE’s official English and French websites every month, and promote them on the social media platforms and relevant industry discussion forums encourage discussions on professional insights on Africa’s business environment.
2. Create two Member Spotlight posts each month and share them to showcase the diverse entrepreneurs within our community and share their stories with our audience.
3. Record and sort out all measurable data of promotional activities including pageviews, entrepreneur sign-ups, and e-book downloads in a timely manner, and submit a detailed monthly progress report through AAE’s official website in the specified template.
