Task description

We are looking for Online Volunteers to support our team with Social Media Promotion of the Virtual Side Event to the High-Level Political Forum 2026, hosted by AlterContacts, an NGO in Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC. The event will take place on July 10, 2026, between 17:00 to 21:00 CEST. We expect around 400-500 participants to attend this Virtual Event (Zoom). To reach the people for whom it would be relevant and beneficial, we are looking for 15 Online Volunteers to help us spread the word on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram). To complete the task, each Online Volunteer will need to write and publish at least: - 3 posts before the event; - 1 comment under the event post; - 1 post during the event; - 1 post after the event. The posts can be written in English, Spanish, Italian, Croatian or German. To be able to evaluate your work fairly, each Online Volunteer will be assigned a unique hashtag. It will allow us to see all the posts and comments you publish throughout the assignment duration. We will provide visuals and general guidance on the content of the posts. But the content of the text will need to be crafted by each volunteer, after which it will be reviewed and approved by our team. Each volunteer will be working individually. But we always encourage the volunteers to get in touch and exchange ideas on how to fulfil the assignment better. The guidance and support will be provided remotely by AlterContacts.
