Action Lab For Development was registered as an Extra-Provincial Corporation in Alberta-Canada in 2024, granted special consultative status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council in 2020, reflecting our commitment to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Action Lab for Development Association is a registered non-profit organization committed to promoting charitable programs in education, skills development, and poverty alleviation. The organization maintains an active website to share information about its projects, opportunities, and initiatives, as well as to engage with the public and supporters. This assignment is part of the organization’s effort to strengthen its digital presence, ensure compliance with non-commercial and charitable standards, and improve transparency and accountability in public communication. The volunteers’ work will directly contribute to accurate representation of the organization’s programs, effective outreach through social media, and the secure facilitation of donations to support public-benefit initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Online Volunteer 1: Content Review and Compliance Support Key Responsibilities: - Update and verify the organization’s contact information to ensure a clear and distinct organizational identity - Review and revise all published projects to ensure: - Accurate and transparent deadlines - Clear presentation as charitable activities - Use of precise, non-commercial language - Edit and refine selected program listings and opportunity postings to: - Emphasize public benefit - Avoid promotion of private businesses, employers, or individuals - Ensure all website content is consistent, unambiguous, and aligned with non-profit and charitable standards - Conduct a comprehensive final review of website content to ensure compliance and clarity Online Volunteer 2: Website Enhancement and Outreach Support Key Responsibilities: - Integrate official social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) to support awareness, outreach, and public education - Ensure social media integration aligns with non-commercial communication standards - Support the design and implementation of a transparent and secure online donation feature - Ensure the donation feature clearly communicates the use of funds for charitable purposes - Collaborate on improving overall website structure, accessibility, and user experience - Support final checks to ensure consistency and functionality across the website
