What the volunteer will do
Mission and objectives
UN Human Rights in Moldova assists the UN Country Team in Moldova, the authorities, the judiciary, the parliament, national human rights institutions and civil society through technical advice and capacity building activities to protect, respect, fulfill and mainstream human rights in the country.
Context
OHCHR Moldova is seeking to increase its donors base and to obtain new funding to implement various projects, including to support Moldova in its journey towards the EU. In this context, OHCHR is requesting 1 Online Volunteer to support the Human Rights Officer with writing three fundraising proposals in the next three months.
Task description
We seek support from 1 Online Volunteer for resource mobilization with the overall objective of supporting the preparation of three upcoming funding submissions for institutional donors. Under the supervision of the Head of Office and the Human Rights Officer, the Online Volunteer will support us with the writing of the project proposals, inclusive of narrative and workplans, and budgets.

Candidates should:
- have previous experience in resource mobilization and project development
- have previous experience with the United Nations and in human rights
- have excellent writing skills
- have an understanding of the donor base in Moldova
- have excellent communication skills.
