Context
The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme in Asia and the Pacific is seeking to enhance the awareness of volunteering opportunities in Palau and increase understanding of how individuals can contribute their skills and expertise through UN Volunteer assignments.
Through this assignment, Online Volunteers in Palau will virtually support outreach efforts by disseminating communication materials, promoting volunteer opportunities, and engaging local networks to expand the reach of UNV campaigns.
Online Volunteers will support the dissemination of UNV communication materials by sharing at least two posts per week through their personal social media channels and local networks, including:
- Invitations for individuals to register on the Unified Volunteering Platform (UVP).
- Promotion of UNV online information sessions/webinars.
- Promotion of UN Volunteer opportunities (national and international assignments), if available during that period.
Through the support of Online Volunteers in Palau, we aim to attract a diverse pool of candidates for UN Volunteer opportunities that contribute to United Nations activities in Palau and across the Pacific region.
