UNV Yemen is seeking an experienced Online Volunteer to support the translation and visual adaptation of the Yemen UNV Field Unit Brochure. Yemen UNV Field Unit Brochure is a key communication and engagement tool used by UNV Yemen when presenting volunteer solutions and partnership opportunities to government institutions, UN agencies, NGOs, civil society organizations, and development partners. The translated version will help ensure that Arabic-speaking partners can easily understand and engage with the services and opportunities offered through UN Volunteer programmes. The volunteer will support both the translation of the content and then updating the current offer design with the Arabic text using tools like Canva. The impact of the online volunteer work for Yemen: The volunteer will play a direct role in strengthening UNV Yemen's partnership development efforts. The translated Brochure will be used to engage Arabic-speaking institutions and organizations, helping decision-makers better understand how volunteer solutions can support their programmes and initiatives. Through this contribution, the volunteer will support the expansion of partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for volunteers to contribute to sustainable development and humanitarian action in Yemen.

The volunteer will: - Translate the Brochure from English into Arabic while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency. - Adapt the translated content to ensure it is suitable for a professional Arabic-speaking audience. - Ensure that terminology related to volunteerism, development, humanitarian action, and United Nations programmes aligns with UN standards. - Update and redesign the document in Canva, ensuring proper Arabic right-to-left formatting and maintaining visual quality. - Review and proofread the translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy and consistency. - Incorporate feedback from the UNV Yemen team and finalize the Arabic version of the Partnership Offer.
