Mission and Objectives
Under the leadership of the UN Resident Coordinator (RC), who leads the UN Country Team (UNCT) in Georgia and coordinates all UN operations at the country level, the UN Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) provides strategic coordination support to the UNCT. Its purpose is to maximize the work of the United Nations so that the system can provide a collective, co-herent and integrated response to national priorities and needs, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Context
UNRCO in Georgia published online the United Nations Georgia Annual Report 2025, which requires wider dissemination to increase awareness and visibility across UN Georgia’s social media platforms.
2025 marked an important moment for the United Nations in Georgia. The UN in Georgia completed a full cycle of cooperation under the 2021–2025 UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, while setting the direction for the years ahead with a new framework for 2026–2030. A key milestone of UN in Georgia in 2025 was the signing of the new UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2026–2030.
UNRCO is looking for an Online Volunteer to create a video on the UN Georgia Annual Report 2025 results for social media.
This assignment is expected to start as soon as possible.
Task Description
Under the overall guidance of the UNRCO social media and communications specialist, the Online Volunteer will support UN in Georgia social media visibility by creating a 1-2 minute long video on the Annual Report’s results.
Specific tasks include:
· Create an engaging video 1-2 minutes long on the Annual Report’s results using UN in Georgia’s pictures, videos and scenario for the video that is partially elabo-rated
· Ability to find more pictures and videos online for the video
· Prepare and record a voiceover in Georgian for the video and make English subtitles (narrative for the voiceover is partially prepared but it has to be elaborated more)
· Visualize data from the report into engaging and clear infographics on the video
· Make smooth transitions on the video
· Submit the final video in a social media-friendly format in high resolution
